Aegis of Carmichael, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood has 48 assisted living apartments providing a mix of one bedroom and spacious studios with 29 apartments dedicated to residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia. Innovative programs, excellent staffing ratios, Individualized Service Plans, and a staff that sees beyond the resident’s physical needs all help to make our residents and families feel appreciated. Our employees receive extensive training in the sensitivities of aging, so they can provide better care to each individual resident.

Heralded as one of the premier Alzheimer’s programs in the country, our Life’s Neighborhood promotes independence and dignity with the aid of comprehensive 24-hour staff, social and recreational activities, and our unique multi-sensory relaxation room called Life’s Haven.
