Aegis of Napa

Aegis of Napa, in the heart of the wine country, consists of 34 assisted living studio and one-bedroom apartments, and an additional 14 apartments for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia.

This beautifully designed, Victorian-style building uses Individualized Service Plans to enhance resident care and celebrate their lives. Our focus on appreciation of staff and understanding of the problems faced by families whose relatives have aged and now need assistance with life’s daily activities is changing the image of the ‘old folk’s home.’ Aegis’nationally recognized Alzheimer’s program, Life’s Neighborhood, creates a world of days gone by where residents find comfort in an environment they remember. Life’s Neighborhood features residential apartments, home-like common areas and familiar routines of daily living supported by 24-hour activities and high staff to resident ratios. Specially designed ‘Life Skill’ stations evoke memories of past eras, while a multi-sensory room, ‘Life’s Haven’, uses aromas, sensations, sounds and objects to recall happy times and evoke comforting memories.
