Brookdale Beaverton

Brookdale Beaverton provides compassionate assistance to seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Our community is designed and staffed with their unique needs in mind. The building is physically designed to reduce agitation and stress:

• Circular paths allow for wandering without becoming lost or disoriented
• Paths all lead to individual small activity areas
• Each person has a memory box outside their door so that they more easily recognize their room
• Outdoor courtyards are fully enclosed
• Exterior doors are alarmed

  Our Staff is specially trained in dementia management, and each staff member receives ongoing training in new approaches and techniques in caring for our residents. Each new resident receives a personalized assessment and plan based on their needs and preferences. We can assist with many different care needs including medication management, assistance with personal grooming and daily tasks, as well as monitoring behavior changes.

  Activities and outings are designed with individual abilities and preferences in mind. Activities which are offered throughout the day include:

  We offer specialized dining for residents with dementia that provides a positive experience by offering a full menu of finger foods and providing assistance whenever needed.
