Brookdale Ellington Field (Opening Summer 2018)

Brookdale Ellington Field is located on the south eastern side of Houston Texas less than 12 miles from Galveston Bay. We are in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Sylvan Rodriguez Park. Brookdale Ellington Field offers assisted living for those seniors needing help with daily activities and memory care for those who have Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

Our recently remodeled community contains 91 apartments in a two-story building. Our community also boasts its own chapel, billiard room, sunroom, media room, library, spacious restaurant style dining room, intimate family dining room and landscaped outdoor areas that are perfect for relaxing in the shade.

Our activities director plans activities that appeal to a wide variety of interests by getting input and suggestions directly from the residents. Recent activities have included:

• Knitting and quilting clubs
• Tai Chi and Yoga
• Live musical entertainment
• Manicures
• Happy hour

  Brookdale Ellington Field offers respite care, specialized dementia care and assistance with all activities of daily living. Residents can also enjoy the convenience of visiting rehabilitation services including occupational therapists, speech therapists and physical therapists. We also have an on-call physician and visiting podiatrist. We have 24-hour on site staff, including a Registered Nurse. We offer medication assistance and chronic disease monitoring, as well as special dietary modifications.
