Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care, located just off 40th Avenue near the Yakima River in Yakima, WA, provides superb care for residents who face the daily challenges of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. For over fifteen years, Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care has developed a reputation of excellence for providing our residents with the highest level of care and a loving home. Our trained professional staff is qualified to meet the needs of each individual.

Chandler House has a very high level of skilled nurses available to residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because of this, they are able to offer services such as insulin injections, oxygen therapy and wound care that are not often available at other memory care facilities. Also because of the level of nursing care and their interaction with the residents on a daily basis, they are able to monitor and quickly notice any changes in health status and notify physicians and families. They are also available to help families coordinate outside home care or hospice services.

Our carefully designed building combines a residential setting with beautiful grounds all designed to cater to our special residents. All rooms are private, individually decorated to look and feel like home. For the well-being of our residents, the campus is electronically monitored.

Residents dine together with family and staff reinforcing our family environment. Residents may choose to participate in all of the normal activities, whether it is cooking, laundry, gardening or their individually designed activities.

Pets are a major part of Chandler House Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care programs. The unconditional love and attention pets share with residents is irreplaceable.
