Cottonwood Place

Cottonwood Place is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the friendly town of Columbus, Nebraska. We are about four blocks north of Glur Park.

In 2012 and 2014 we won the Best Assisted Living Facility in Columbus award and in 2013 we won the Certificate of Achievement for Exceptional Effort/Audit Standard. Of course none of this would be possible without our wonderful staff. Whether helping with medications, buttoning a gentleman’s shirt or doing puzzles with residents our employees are simply the most caring people you will find anywhere.

Visitors often find our residents gathered around the piano for sing-alongs, curled up by the fireplace with a book or cheering for their favorite sports team in our big screen TV room. We also offer daily tea, exercise programs, game show and trivia contests, a computer area and a beauty/barber salon.

At meal times the wonderful aroma of home cooked favorites like pork roast and barbecued chicken as well as brownies and baked apples draw residents into our restaurant style dining room. Our meals are planned by a registered dietician and alternate meals as well as snacks are always available.
