Eason House Eason House is a private residence that is a home for five individuals with the need for memory or assisted care. Our resident to care giver ratio is 2 care givers to 5 residents during waking hours. Each resident is also assigned a personal nurse case manager to provide optimal health and wellness.
The home is situated on a picturesque 1/2 acre lot in Beechwold with a majestic view of 100 year old trees. The house sits at the top of a beautiful ravine that you will find quite enchanting and relaxing. The house, itself, was built in the 1950’s. It has been completely remodeled to create an environment where residents can live with exceptional quality of life. A place where families can visit and be part of the vision that will be Eason House.
Spaced Retrieval Spaced Retrieval (SR) is a memory intervention technique that gives individuals with memory deficits practice at successfully recalling important information over progressively longer intervals of time. Clinical research using SR has demonstrated that individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease can be taught to remember compensatory strategies that help facilitate safety and greater levels of independence. Commitment to the latest research and effective techniques in dementia care will be at the fore front of our core model. All of our team members will be trained in the use of spaced retrieval as it will serve as a model for our environment.
