Greene Place

Greene Place is located in the small town of Seward, Nebraska. Our community is nestled on the end of a street in a quiet residential neighborhood just 1/2 mile east of the Seward Country Club. We are less than two miles from Lied Senior Center which is a popular gathering place for programs, classes and sharing meals with friends. We are close enough to the historic town square for frequent shopping and trips to restaurants.

We have won awards for Residence of Excellence and the 2013 Certificate of Achievement for Exceptional Effort/Audit Standard.

We hold frequent community events in which both residents and the public are invited to participate. Some of our recent and most popular events have been:

• Polka and Ice Cream Social (1st Monday of each month)
• Grandparents Day Celebration
• Antique Appraisals

  We are unique in both design and level of service. Our open floor plan and central courtyard encourage socialization. Our bright living room is a frequent gathering space for residents, friends and family to relax, visit and join in performances around the piano. Our library is a good place for quiet reading and is also a lovely setting for communion and church services provided by local churches.

  We have a newly remodeled activity room used for games, puzzles, crafts and bingo. This room is available for families to reserve and use for family gatherings. Our large covered front porch is a great place to wait for our free transportation and to say hello to arriving friends and family. We have ample parking for both visitors and residents alike.
