Hampton House Facility

The Hampton House is nestled in the curve of a quiet, small town street in Colbert GA. This historic home, which was built in the early 1900’s, received a total renovation in 2008 keeping true to it’s original stunning state created by the Hampton Family. The Hampton House opened its doors in 2010, as a State of Georgia licensed Personal Care Home, and was added onto in 2012 to accommodate 20 residents. The Hampton House is only 12 miles outside of Athens, GA and is convenient to University of Georgia. The facility director, Sonya Gober, states that she has a devoted, caring, compassionate and experienced staff on hand for 24 hour oversight. The staff assists the residents with medication management and activities of daily living, that includes bathing, dressing, toileting and transferring. With the addition of Missy Debreczeni as Community Relations Director, the Hampton House will continue to develop new ways to better serve our residents’ needs while maintaining a family oriented environment. All of the nutritious home cooked meals and snacks are prepared in the on-site full-service kitchen. The home has a large living room, dining room, private sitting area and a large relaxing rocking chair front porch. Cable TV and wireless internet services are also available.
