Helena Place

Helena Place is an assisted living community located in Port Royal, South Carolina. We are situated on the south side of Cypress Wetlands Bird Sanctuary where our residents habitually go to take nature strolls and bird sightseeing excursions. We are extremely involved in our local commune and organized a community health fair not long ago that showed to be widely accepted. In collaboration with our local hospital we provided health screenings and a free breakfast buffet too.

Our residents take delight in frequent excursions including visits from local school children and tours to the neighboring YMCA, shops, and dining options. We organize several in house activities varying from customized exercise lessons to worship services.

Our expansive units provide all the eases of home and seniors are urged to design their own areas to fit their preferences. Our apartments provide a myriad of features and contemporary amenities:

• Refrigerators with freezers
• Generous amounts of storage space
• Carpeting throughout the apartment
• Individual indoor mailboxes

We provide all day individual care including medication supervision, help with basic activities, chronic disease observing and transportation coordination for meetings with the doctor. Our restaurant-style dining room serves three healthy sumptuous meals on a regular basis and some refreshments upon wish by residents.
