John Knox Village

Since it was established a little more than 40 years ago, John Knox Village has been the leading continuing care retirement community in the Midwest.
Situated on a 420-acre campus in Lee’s Summit, Mo., the Village is now home to more than 1,800 residents who enjoy a wide array of residential and active lifestyle choices. Hundreds of options are available for independent living residents, ranging from 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom single family homes, to attached homes (with or without garages) and apartment homes ranging from a studio to 1,100 square feet. Their newest expansion includes an addition to the Courtyard Apartments and an expanded Courtyard Commons with a new restaurant, a new 31-seat movie theater, a new salon and a private dining room. Construction is underway for ‘The Meadows,’ the Village’s newest neighborhood.

What’s more, the not-for-profit organization also provides health care options for residents, as well as seniors in 10 counties across Missouri and Kansas.

On the Village campus, residents of John Knox Village and the surrounding community benefit from the homey atmosphere and assistance offered at Village Assisted Living, Village Assisted Living Residential Care and Village Assisted Living Memory Care, as well as across campus at the Village’s skilled nursing facility – the Village Care Center. In addition to long term care, the Village Care Center includes a rehabilitation care unit, a memory care unit, and Village House — a new warm and comforting unit that provides in-patient hospice care.
