Maplewood at Stony Hill in Bethel is the only assisted living community in Northern Fairfield County that is fully dedicated to those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Memory care is our singular focus.

Maplewood at Stony Hill is an innovative, purposefully built assisted living and memory care community offering the finest care and lifestyle to the region’s seniors and their families. The community consists of a mix of private, deluxe studio, and one bedroom apartments for residents who wish to remain as independent as possible with assistance in activities of daily living, no matter their level of cognitive function. It will be home to multiple, distinct ‘neighborhoods’ for those who are living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

We offer two memory care neighborhoods so families can select the neighborhood that will provide the ideal setting for their loved one. Each neighborhood features an open living and common rooms, with an open-display kitchen and dining room to recreate the sense of living more naturally ‘at home.’ Weekly chapel services open to all denominations are also a part of community life, along with opportunities that encourage engagement.

Stony Hill features residences of deluxe private apartments, and Lifestyle Suites which allow two individual residents to share an apartment (while enjoying their own private bedroom), and receive all the benefits of living at Maplewood with a significant cost saving. Emergency call systems are in place so families can rest easy knowing that help is always close at hand. We handle the housekeeping and laundry chores, thereby relieving your loved one of those responsibilities.

For added piece of mind, Maplewood at Stony Hill offers 24-7 on-site licensed nursing, two levels of memory care: a safe environment with supported independence as well as a more structured environment for those needing additional support; an emotion based philosophy of care; Farm — To — Table Dining with open display kitchens and dining rooms featuring our Inspired Dining programs for those living with memory impairment. An on-site Memory Resource & Support Center is available to the public for their use in research and support.
