Mountainside Senior Living is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the quaint historic town of Crozet, just 15 miles west of Charlottesville. A winner of both the Commonwealth Council on Aging Best Practice Award and the Governor’s Housing Award, we strive to provide our residents with exemplarity care in a home like setting. Our residents have a selection of private and semi-private rooms with a wide array of amenities. From transportation to doctor’s appointments/errands, three fresh and local meals plus nutritious snacks prepared by our experienced chef to housekeeping and laundry needs, Mountainside seeks to meet all of our residents daily living needs. In addition to personalized care, we also offer a wide array of activities for our residents to participate in that are engaging, educational and spiritual. Our activities department has a robust monthly calendar with both in-house activities and off campus activities. Our on-site Wellness Center provides medication monitoring and 24/7 medical staff on site to care our resident’s medical needs.

As the needs of our aging community continue to increase, Mountainside has recently opened a state of the art 20 bed memory care neighborhood on our third floor. With a focus on alternative therapies (like Snozelen Therapy and the Positive Approach Method) we are happy to report our residents are happier, more relaxed and more engaged with staff and in their daily lives. As with our assisted living community, we strive to provide the highest quality care at an affordable rate. Mountainside Senior Living is non-profit that is managed by the Jefferson Area Board on Aging (JABA), who has over 35 years of experience caring for the elderly and their families. All of our residents are entitled to JABA services including, case management, insurance counseling, educational seminars and more!
