We are the first to set up a neighborhood concept within our Memory Care allowing a natural separation between those residents with low to moderate memory loss and those with more severe to end stage dementia.

This allows each resident the dignity and respect they deserve and allows the staff to provide the care, activities and social life appropriate for each person.

Because we are primarily physician-owned, we strive to have the highest quality of care available by partnering with families to improve the life experiences of our residents.

Our Extraordinary Philosophy

My Doctor’s Inn is an extraordinary new concept in assisted living and memory care that evolved from years of planning by an innovative group of physicians in Southeast Michigan.

My Doctor’s Inn is a Licensed Home for the Aged community that is unlike any other assisted living community. With our ‘living with assistance’ philosophy, we provide an equal balance of quality of life with quality of care. We believe that our residents, despite physical and cognitive needs, can lead vibrant and purposeful lives. At My Doctor’s Inn a person’s quality of life is as important as their quality of care.

Memory Care -‘The Neighborhoods’

The Neighborhoods are located on the east side of our building. To ensure safety and privacy, it has its own separate entrance and common area.

Unique to the dementia area is its four, 9-person neighborhoods, allowing a natural separation for those with low to moderate memory loss and Dementia, and those with more severe to end stage Alzheimer’s disease.
