Peggy Kelly House

At Peggy Kelly House we recognize the difficult journey of those with early to middle stage Alzheimer’s and other memory related diseases. We offer a secure environment with dementia specific care.
We encourage our residents to continue to make choices, but in a more secure environment. They are involved in everyday activities they can feel successful at. Our entire community is one level, without stairs or elevators for residents to manage.
Because of the nature of memory loss, our staff receives continuous training specializing in caring for residents with memory related issues, including understanding their disease process, proper communication, interaction, redirection, activities.
Memory boxes allow each resident to decorate and display pictures and memorabilia from their life. This triggers pleasant memories and gives a snap shot of their history.

24-hour staff
Assistance with reminders and redirection
Assistance with dressing and clothing selection
Escorts and assistance with walking
Medication Management
Three meals served daily in our dining room
Assistance with bathing and grooming
Housekeeping and personal laundry
Emergency call system
Daily therapeutic and multi-sensory activities
