Shepherd Senior Living is the 1st Shared Housing Establishment in McHenry County featuring 7 bed 7.5 bathroom in 4,880 square foot ranch. Your mom or dad will have the choice of private or shared bedroom configurations at Shepherd of Ringwood to fit almost any budget. Our home is nestled on a 3 acre parcel full of wildlife, mature trees and large backyard with many bird feeders. There are over 1,600 square ft of common area indoor and 1,000 square ft of outdoor covered seating (perfect for summertime sunsets) and additional outdoor picnic tables and waist high gardening available.
Our caregiver to resident ratio is one to six which provides a very personalized service for your mom or dad! We are proud our administrator team has over 15 years of combined senior care experience! Our CNA’s (certified nursing assistants) are among the best in the industry. Shepherd carefully screens our staff through a 15 point process to ensure only the best background checked staff is hired.
A typical Shepherd week is full of activities consisting of board games, puzzles, bingo, craft fairs, Wii Sports (bowling, tennis, baseball) and live entertainment. Our residents work on crafts and art projects such as drawing or painting. We offer FREE wi-fi and cable TV to all Shepherd residents.
