The Residence at Cedar Dell

Welcome to the newly renovated Residence at Cedar Dell!

Located in Dartmouth Massachusetts, a tranquil south coast town, our community which recently received a $1.5 million full community renovation, is nestled on ten acres of land. We offer 61 apartments that are a combination of studio, one and two bedroom apartments for assisted living residents and 17 apartments for older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

In addition to new lighting, paint and flooring throughout the community, we have updated all apartments with granite countertops, new micro-fridge/freezer/microwave combinations, new walk-in showers, fixtures and a combination of hardwood and carpeting. Also, we’ve updated our first floor pub, added an additional elevator, and created a new bistro on our second floor for lighter fare dining options.

We are excited to be collaborating with McLean Hospital, The Center for Brain/Mind Medicine and The Center for Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, which enables us to provide the best in purposeful programming and lifestyle interventions to promote healthy cognitive and brain aging throughout our community. It also empowers us to have our finger on the pulse of advancements in dementia treatment, new diagnostic techniques, and innovative non-pharmacological interventions and programming initiatives. As well, we will have access to their clinicians and their studies, provide the community-at-large and family members with educational opportunities, and conduct specialized employee training.

Our residents experience the peace of mind knowing that our Residential Care Associates are just a step away to provide support anytime during the day or night. Also, our Resident Care Director ensures a personalized care plan is created and monitored for each resident with the goal of keeping them strong and healthy for years to come. Also, we have a created a brand on-site new physical and occupational rehabilitation gym for residents needing rehab.

For older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and forms of memory loss, The Residence at Cedar Dell offers 17 spacious apartments in our Reflections Neighborhood. The neighborhood has its own dedicated and specially-trained Reflections Resident Care Director, Activity Director and Care Associates who focus on providing a purposeful and structured day in a safe and empowering environment. This results in one of the highest staff to resident ratio in the area. Also, all medication administration is performed by a licensed nurse at no additional cost to our Reflections residents.
