Walnut Place is a proud leader in the geriatric health care field. Well known in the medical community for the scope and quality of nursing care, Walnut Place is called upon to care for residents needing short-term, acute, nursing care as well as residents needing long-term care. Walnut Place has ten neighborhoods within the building, each with its own dining area and nursing station, allowing us to offer a variety of levels of care in a more personal atmosphere. Our innovative staffing schedule is designed to personalize resident care. Residents benefit from having staff consistently assigned to work with them, encouraging personal relationships.

Medicare Skilled Nursing is the largest component of service at Walnut Place. This very special unit is dedicated to providing the finest complete rehab services for individuals following their hospital stay. Walnut Place offers private rooms, personalized menus, and physician services. Rehab services are delivered 7 days a week by a staff of 20 therapists and technicians.

Walnut Place strives to make medical services as convenient as possible for our residents. We have an open physician policy, which allows any physician who is willing to follow their patient’s care at our facility to do so.
