Senior Care Center is pleased to announce Madison Katz as the winner of our Achievers Scholarship for Fall 2019!

Madison will be starting her junior year of college in the fall semester. She enjoys science classes such as chemistry and genetics, but has a passion for biology. Her favorite hobbies include reading and studying, spending time with her family and puppy, and hiking and eating well. Madison plans to have a career in medicine where she can work in pediatrics and use her Spanish minor.

Now Accepting Scholarship Applications For Spring 2020!

The Senior Care Center Achievers Scholarship celebrates achievement in many forms, and we want to take the time to invest in the education of those who are making a difference in our communities. Our Achievers Scholarship was created to honor those who have created an opportunity for themselves as well as others. This could be in the form of helping others achieve their dreams, starting a business or organization, taking proactive measures to accomplish a goal, and other ways of contributing to our society.

The Senior Care Center Achievers Scholarship is an annual scholarship that will award (1) $500 prize to one chosen applicant for the spring school semester. The deadline for the spring scholarship is December 1st, with the winner announced on December 14th. Scholarship prize will be sent in the form of a check mailed to the winner.

Spring 2020 Scholarship Application

To apply for the Senior Care Center Achievers Scholarship, submit a short essay responding to the prompted question below. Winners will be chosen according to their submitted response.

To be eligible for the Senior Care Center Achievers Scholarship, a student must:

  • Be enrolled full time in high school or at least part-time in college, graduate, professional, or trade school.
  • Possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.

THE SENIOR CARE CENTER SCHOLARSHIP IS OPEN TO ANY CITIZEN OR RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, OR UNITED STATES TERRITORIES WHO IS A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR OR CURRENT UNDERGRADUATE OR GRADUATE STUDENT WHO IS ENROLLED IN A 2- OR 4- YEAR PUBLIC OR PRIVATE COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. All other entries will be disqualified. Senior Care Center will grant the scholarship to the applicant we deem most qualified. Employees of Senior Care Center (“Sponsor”) and its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional or marketing agencies and their immediate family members (spouse, children, parents and siblings) and persons living in family member homes are not eligible for the Senior Care Center Scholarship.
