At Aegis Lodge in Kirkland, our residents enjoy the best of all: a wonderful well-trained caring staff and an atmosphere difficult to find elsewhere, surrounded by nature, walking paths and five-star dining but yet close to Evergreen Hospital and Seattle’s eastside doctors. Our community has been providing excellent care since its opening in 2001.

Our nursing staff is onsite seven days a week to ensure our residents are not only well cared for, but also their support system, such as physicians and family members, are kept well informed on any progress, updates, or changes in condition.

We also provide transportation to outside doctor appointments three times a week serving neighborhood cities like Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, Mill Creek, Bellevue and Issaquah but not limited to those. We are within walking distance of Evergreen Senior Care, close to Evergreen Hospital, and many top rated medical practices, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care available.

Aegis Lodge offers a warm environment perfect for seniors in need of assisted living, dementia care and Parkinson’s care. Our continuum of care allows residents to age in place and never have to move again. We offer onsite outpatient Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy 5 days a week. These services are provided right here at Aegis Lodge by one of the best in therapies: Life Care Center of Kirkland. Add services and additional care as time goes on, from in-home care all the way through hospice.

At Aegis Lodge, we offer a unique respite or short term care program for patients in need of transitional or post-hospital stays reducing the risk of hospital re-admissions. If you need further assistance while you regain your strength and rehabilitate, we can offer health care support and medication management in a warm and caring environment. A social worker led support group is also available once a month. Maintain your lifestyle and sense of independence, while you take time to heal.

We are the first community in the area to offer Friendship Club, a program for seniors in the early stages of dementia. Friendship Club provides a supervised community setting where residents can socialize and stay actively engaged, preventing isolation, slowing memory loss, and keeping minds sharp. Participating members benefit from our staff’s comprehensive training and expert memory care.

Aegis Lodge maintains a strong commitment to residents living with Parkinson’s Disease. We offer a wellness program including balanced meals paired with onsite physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our staff is well versed in Parkinson’s. We understand many residents struggle with the onset of physical difficulties before mental challenges develop. By creating individualized care plans, we do the utmost to preserve our residents’ dignity.
