Bee Hive Homes of Niceville is locally owned and operated and has been in operation for 6 years. The franchise, which originally started in Idaho, has grown to 170 homes across the country because people keep asking for a Bee Hive Home in their area! Why? Because Bee Hive Homes Assisted Living is redefining what senior care can be!

We are small! (by small we mean 9,000 square feet of lovely spaces) Only 16 residents live at Bee Hive Homes, and each resident has a private room with a private bathroom. The easy to navigate design with no long hallways, and like home concept, are inspired from working in a large facility, and wishing it were possible to give enough attention to each person like they deserve — it’s simply not possible in a large facility because there is not enough staffing per resident. With a 5 resident per 1 caregiver day ratio, our professionally trained caregivers have time for your loved one, and when your loved one wants attention there are caregivers handy. We provide assistance for medication, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry 2x week, daily room tidy and weekly deep clean, chef prepared meals, some meal substitutions, escort to dining room, meal served in room, reminders for tasks and activities, and more – all in our All-Inclusive Rate!

Some facilities say “all-inclusive” and only include 2-3 things, other places say “flat-rate” and include only the room and meals – but just wait for that 2nd bill to watch the cost add up! At other facilities the ‘starting rate’ might be $3800 or $4000, but by the time the per-item assistance and cost is added at the end of the month, many people end up paying $5,500, $6,000, even $8,000 a month.
Why doesn’t Bee Hive Homes charge the same? Because Bee Hive Homes wants you to save money and have peace of mind with just one bill each month and no add on cost for those services and assistance. How does this give peace of mind? Because residents can relax and feel comfortable with receiving or asking for assistance instead of worrying if they can afford to ask for help, or have an extra snack when they are hungry. Residents and Family can easily budget for assisted living when it is a set rate with no second bill.

Bee Hive Homes is located on a residential street near the White Wilson Clinic by Bluewater Bay. Some residents enjoy sitting on the front porch with a caregiver watching as neighbors walk their dogs or children ride bikes. Some residents enjoy walking on the 4 ft wide sidewalk in the secured backyard, visiting on the patio, or watching the fountain and wildlife.
