Benedictine Manor

For over 30 years Benedictine Manor has served the needs of independent seniors with the warm graciousness of Southern and Benedictine hospitality. Residents enjoy the freedom to come and go as they please while enjoying the benefits of community, security, and safety. Married couples and individuals of various faith traditions and cultural backgrounds are welcome.

The Benedictine Sisters of Cullman, Alabama, a community of Catholic monastic women, are the corporate sponsors of Benedictine Manor. The Manor is located on the beautiful grounds of Sacred Heart Monastery, where residents attend services, volunteer for various activities, participate in retreat center programs, and enjoy the well-maintained areas for sitting or walking.

Benedictine Manor is located on the eastern edge of the City of Cullman off of Hwy278, about 1 mile from the Ave Maria Grotto at St. Bernard Abbey. The City of Cullman has a wide range of cultural and recreational activities available year-round, including the annual Oktoberfest celebrating the town’s German heritage. The larger cities of Birmingham and Huntsville are within a 1 hour’s drive.
