We believe that the community you choose should be a good fit for the entire family. Located in the heart of Southpark with shopping, restaurants & parks within walking distance. Here at Brighton Gardens we are one of the few Assisted Living communities that allows for ‘Higher levels of care’. What does that mean to you? That means that as a NC Assisted Living Community we are able to take care of the frailest of the frail- where in another community you may be advised that your loved one now is in need of skilled nursing, but we look at the entire picture and try to allow our residents to Age in Place- or stay in the same place until end of life. Here we are able to care for insulin dependent residents where as in some places you would have to go to a skilled nursing facility.

We have onsite Memory Care that we call our Reminiscence Neighborhood, as a secured area in the community the residents receiving care also have full access to a enclosed and secure outside area that provides for gardening, playing with the animals and enjoying the outside. We have a very diverse population of residents; residents who are able to drive to those who need assistance with all activities of daily living. Talk about diversity we have residents from age 56 all the way to 103!!!

We are proud to talk about our dining services here at Brighton Gardens, where over 87% of our meals are made from scratch. Yes SCRATCH! Let me know when you would like to come out for lunch ‘on us’!

Our activities calendar is pretty busy from activities onsite to offsite activities. We have great partnerships with local Community Centers to extend our activities calendar to allow for swimming, water aerobics and more. We have a good little group of folks that love to watch sports & have a good time. After all you know we are the home of the Carolina Panthers!
Need therapy? We have onsite Therapy provided by Legacy Healthcare — they are able to provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy & Speech Therapy whether it be new or in continuum from a local rehabilitation facility!

Our rooms range in size from small studios to two bedroom apartments, with small kitchenette areas with dorm sized refrigerators and microwaves that we provide. Who wants a full kitchen? When you move to Assisted living the goal is to downsize, get help with what you need and continue to do those things you can for yourself. We pride ourselves in the size of our bathrooms with the easy access walk in showers with built in seats. Our walking areas are both fenced and open for walking and working in the garden. We have a community dog ‘Cody’ and several residents have their own dogs and cats to keep them company.

Our basic costs include your apartment, three meals a day, once a-week housekeeping, basic cable, laundry, one stand by assist bath, and all onsite activities. Don’t ever be fooled by the ‘One Size Fits All option’ as you are out educating yourself on what you want in a Community!

We provide transportation to and from medical appointments that fall within our area and have a physician/NP that comes in to see residents who may not be able to get out for those appointments.
