Brookdale Bend

Brookdale Bend offers specialized memory care for seniors in Deschutes County, Oregon who have Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Our community was designed to meet the unique needs of those with severe memory issues. The building is designed to resemble a small neighborhood with different areas and courtyards that provide a familiar environment and safe places to wander. Residents enjoy an enclosed outdoor courtyard with raised gardening beds, walking paths and seating areas that overlook bird feeders and flower beds.

Our apartments are available in either private or companion suites that provide the best features of independent living, while help with daily activities, such as bathing or medication management is always available. We encourage residents to bring furnishings and decorations from home to personalize their living spaces. All apartments include:

• Private bathrooms with built-in safety features

  We offer a wide variety of activities and entertainment that add structure and purpose to each day. Activities are based on resident preferences and personal life stories. Some favorites include games, musical entertainment and sing-alongs, exercise and walking groups, barbecues, birthday parties and holiday celebrations.
