Brookdale Palmer Park

Brookdale Palmer Park offers Alzheimer’s and dementia care in Colorado Springs. Our hillside setting is just minutes away from downtown and nearby several shopping areas. Our ideal location is also nearby numerous skilled nursing facilities, if ever needed.

Our single-story community has 60 one-bedroom studio apartments, each with their own bathroom. Within our community there are four separate neighborhood houses that serve 17 residents. Each neighborhood home has its own living room, dining room and kitchen. Residents are welcome to wander to any neighborhood they choose and stay for meals if they so choose.

Relax in our private enclosed courtyard or work on a puzzle with friends, at Brookdale Palmer Park, where residents are encouraged to make the most out of every day. We offer a variety of activities and amenities, including:

• Laughter club
• Brain fitness

  We also go on scenic drives to places like the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center.

  At Brookdale Palmer Park we work closely with the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. We host monthly family discussions which family members, staff and the general public are welcomed to attend. Our staff is truly committed to providing the best care possible. Through monthly ‘lunch and learns’ staff is able to learn more about specific topics related to Alzheimer’s or dementia from local hospice agency experts.
