Issaquah’s neighborhood retain the small, hometown feeling that is one of the community’s most cherished assets. Issaquah’s close proximity to neighboring business districts, downtown Seattle, and recreational areas make it an ideal place for families to live. New residential developments continue to add to the diversity of housing options in Issaquah, from high-density urban apartments in a glade of mature conifers to luxury homes on acreage, and everything in between. Fast-paced growth does create concern about zoning, transportation and environment preservation, but in-depth public scrutiny has made the community an integral part of the planning and developing process. This balance will ensure Issaquah remains a great place to live.
