Jefferson House

Jefferson House is located at 900 East Jefferson in Macomb, Illinois and is privately owned and professionally managed by Urban Innovations.  You must be at least 62 years of age or older or disabled or handicapped to be eligible to live at Jefferson House.

Rent, as set by HUD, will be approximately 30% of your adjusted income.  Counted as income is social security, pensions, interest, dividends, disability payments and all forms of compensation.  Deductions are taken from your income for medical expenses and health insurance premiums.

The six story elevator building has 115 private one bedroom apartments featuring a full kitchen and spacious closets situated in a quiet residential neighborhood located just blocks from shopping, banks and restaurants.

As you enter the front door you are greeted by a warm and personal atmosphere.  Each floor has a comfortably furnished living area where companionship and social activites are enjoyed along with outside decks available on the 3rd and 6th floor. There is also an outdoor patio on the ground floor that has a couple of swings, table and chairs, and a grill if anyone would like to have a cook out.
