We are a small assisted living home caring for five clients. We are a husband & wife team working hands on, helping with A.D.L.’s with our caring staff. We not only hire our staff for their documented qualifications, but are hand picked for their love & kindness. The majority of our meals are home cooked & very good.Transportation & companion assistance are included in our rate. During the doctor visit we inform the doctor of recent changes or discrepancies and we receive visual & verbal information and/or instructions from the doctor. We stay with and assist our client in the emergency room until they are comfortably admitted on a ward or discharged to go home in our vehicle. I personally stayed at the E R eight + hours until my client was admitted and placed in a ward. The ward nurse was informed of pertinent information or techniques used in caring for the client & what the client can & can’t do in order to help the ward staff. We work very well with Alzheimer & Dementia clients. We are such a small group thus reducing the clients confusion seeing the same faces everyday and we have the time, to take our time, and give them the special attention they need. Specialized nurses, therapy, and wound care are available on site. We take our clients who are interested to church with us across the road or to a place of religion they are affiliated with. Upon request we purchase client’s supplies ie… (protective underwear) and bill at cost on the store receipt. We don’t have facility prices. You pay what we pay. We are aware of the family members busy schedule and we provide as much accommodations necessary.
