Lynd Place

Lynd Place is a cozy, homelike community located in a beautiful wooded setting in Muncie, Indiana. Muncie is home to Ball State University which is about four miles west of us, and our residents enjoy the many cultural, educational and entertainment options available there.

Our registered dietician develops individualized meal plans based on each resident’s health needs and preferences. Residents love our home cooked meals and delicious desserts. While most residents prefer to dine with their friends in our restaurant style dining room meals can be brought to your apartment if you wish.

  At Lynd Place, we provide personalized, attentive care in a warm home-like environment. We strive to keep residents as independent as possible while meeting their individual needs. We offer respite care, short term stay programs, rehabilitation services and a home visit program.

  We realize that each resident is unique so with input from the resident, family and doctor we develop a care plan based on each individual’s needs. We have 24-hour on site staff, including a Registered Nurse. Our caring staff can help with medication and assistance with activities of daily living when needed. We also have regular on-site visits from Nurse Practitioner and Geriatric Psychiatrist. We also promote mental and emotional health by offering massage therapy, a fitness room, beautician on site and a pet therapy program.
