The Lighthouse at Lincoln

The Lighthouse at Lincoln is Rhode Island’s only specialized memory care assisted living community, providing research-based treatment for older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.

Our community is collaborating with McLean Hospital, The Center for Brain/Mind Medicine and The Center for Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. These exciting collaborations empower us to have our finger on the pulse of advancements in dementia treatment, new diagnostic techniques, and innovative non-pharmacological interventions and programming initiatives.

We also have access to their clinicians and their studies, provide the community-at-large and family members with educational opportunities, and conduct specialized employee training. It also enhances our community’s commitment to healthy aging. We provide the premiere research-based programming and interventions, including civic engagement, arts patronage, fitness, in-house state-of-the-art physical and occupational rehabilitation and volunteer opportunities. Through these innovations, our residents benefit from increased brain health and improved overall well-being.

Our community allows our residents to age in place by providing all levels of care in an award-winning, ‘neighborhood’ floor plan design.

The charming neighborhoods are designed to promote a sense of independence and empower our residents with a positive sense of purpose and the ability to choose how they want to spend their day. Other amenities include a state-of-the-art physical and occupational rehabilitation gym, beauty/barber shop and intimate family-style dining.
