Welcome to The Reutlinger, we are a non profit senior living community that is proud to offer a true continuum of care that really does allow you to age in place. The Reutlinger started in 1950 as The Home For Jewish Parents in Oakland, California serving those with skilled nursing needs. In 1996 we opened our doors in the beautiful rolling hills Danville, California. Once we moved we were also able to serve a larger population of people and care needs. Now as The Reutlinger we have 4 levels of care, Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing including short term rehabilitation. Our staff members and programs are really what sets us a apart from the rest, combined we have over 100 years of experience in senior care. We have activity directors and programs dedicated to every level of care to provide activities all day 7 days a week. We are a 5 star campus that has been voted ‘Best in the Bay’. As an individual and non-profit campus we have had to work extra to keep our 5 stars and are happy to do so. In the area you will find plenty of shopping near by at the stunning Blackhawk Plaza or even the Safeway grocery, both conveniently located with in 1 mile. Our concierge service will take you there, in one of our many buses or company cars FREE of charge. That is just one of our many amenities that are all inclusive, we run a lot like a resort where all of your needs are already built in the price. So yes there is no point system, meaning you never have to wonder what your bill will be like every month. The Reutlinger campus is one of a kind full of artwork everywhere you look even the actual building itself is breathtaking. As we do cater to the Jewish community at large with an on site synagogue and full kosher dinning, we are happy to open our arms and hearts to those of all faiths and denominations. To serve those of other faiths we can bring in local clergy to provide faith based support or we can take you to a local place of worship through the concierge service.
