Our location in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, in the serene town of Luray, provides a quality of life that is unsurpassed by any other assisted living facility. Our professionally trained staff consider each resident as family and treat each with the highest standards of personal and professional quality care. Our primary care staff is trained in CPR and First Aid and we also have LPN’s on staff and on call around the clock. The care we provide is augmented by the physician of your choice, with psychiatric and psychological services available as needed. Rehabilitation services, including physical and occupational therapy, as well as aquatic therapy, is available through a licensed outpatient clinic located on site.

Whispering Pines has a specialized unit designed and dedicated for individuals who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. This unit is self-contained with its own dining room, day room and enclosed courtyard. We offer Respite Care to give caregivers an opportunity for a temporary break from the day to day responsibiliites of caregiving.
