Brookdale Champlin, located in Champlin, Minnesota, is an exclusive senior living community offering Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care. Just two blocks from Highway 169, the major highway that connects the City of Champlin to the Twin Cities, our community is nestled in a beautiful wooded setting on a hill overlooking lovely Mill Pond. Residents can enjoy exploring the natural beauty of Brookdale Champlin in a safe, protected environment or simply enjoy views of the pond from our community patio.

We also provide transportation to local dinner theaters, movies, restaurants, concerts in the park and for our memory care residents, we take scenic drives to Elm Creek Park Reserve which is just a half-mile from our community and is one of our residents’ favorite destinations.

Mercy Hospital is just five miles from Brookdale Champlin and Minneapolis is just a short drive from of our campus.

Our campus includes the following accommodations and levels of care:

• Assisted Living accommodations for those who may need some extra help with daily living activities. We balance assistance with independence, providing just the right amount care needed.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care program where skilled associates provide residents with a structured routine of activities that help maintain their abilities, encourage the use of their current skills and experience daily moments of success with a sense of purpose.

  We feature well-appointed common areas, including our spacious, bright lobby area with vaulted ceilings and skylights. Just off the lobby is a parlor with fireplace, game tables, puzzles and a comfortable seating area.

  Our dining room is located on the main floor and offer residents immediate access to an outside patio where residents enjoy scenic views.

  Our community room has large windows along with a large-screen television where we often show movies. We also have a private dining room for residents to enjoy family celebrations as well as a beauty salon and barber shop on-site, a billiards room and a library lined with volumes of books and periodicals.

  At Brookdale Champlin, we believe dining well is part of living well. We offer restaurant-style dining for our residents with chef-prepared meals and our chefs are always eager share their culinary talents to create new dishes for our residents to enjoy.

  We offer an engaging calendar of activities, including daily chair exercise, strength and balance class, weekly church services and Bible study with visiting pastors, ongoing entertainment such as polka bands and choirs from our local high school and arts and crafts classes. We also offer several clubs such as our Walking Club, which takes advantage of the nearby trail system, our ladies’ Red Hat Society and our active Champlin Choir.

  Residents enjoy bridge, poker and bingo and we have a certified music therapist on staff who works with both Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. We also offer outings to restaurants, shopping, movies and plays. In addition, we organize large family gatherings during holidays as well as special events such as our annual pig roast.
