The Cohen Home

A Jewish Home Life Community that is open to all, The Cohen Home is an assisted living community that exemplifies the principles of family, community and Jewish values. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood near shopping, dining and medical centers, our residents benefit from our I’m Still Here approach to care and engagement. Whether it is a theme night dinner, holiday celebration, concert or art project, our residents share great camaraderie and enjoy a high quality of life while living as independently as possible for as long as possible.

As one of just 25 certified I’m Still Here Dementia Care Centers of Excellence in the country, we empower residents by offering choice and purpose in everything we do. Each day we invite our residents to join us for purposeful activities and wide variety of programs that stimulate their minds, bodies, and spirits, including special interest clubs, exercise classes, lectures, trips to museums and musical performances.

As part of our $2.5 million renovation completed in 2017, our new Pathways neighborhood offers a bridge program for those who may not yet need a secure memory care environment, but benefit from a more intimate environment and programming. Additionally, our grand dining room, Pathways Great Room and large multi-purpose activities space have floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook beautiful, secure gardens and walking paths.

We are right on the border of Alpharetta and Johns Creek, and a short drive to Roswell, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Peachtree Corners, Cumming, Duluth and East Cobb.

The Cohen Home is part of Jewish Home Life Communities, which has been caring for older adults since 1951. Residents of The Cohen Home benefit from preferred status at any of our other communities including The William Breman Jewish Home, Aviv Rehabilitation Center and Weinstein Hospice.
